Oracle announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire InQuira, a leading provider of best-in-class service knowledge management software that supports web self-service and agent-assisted service.
InQuira is currently an Oracle CRM On Demand Inner Circle Partner, and its product offering will help bolster Oracle's Service applications. Its technology is meant to help companies improve the effectiveness of their customer-service operations by helping call center representatives find accurate answers to customer questions, as well as allowing customers to find answers on their own through self-service portals and community forums.
