I am a self-proclaimed Beatles fanatic, as well an Oracle Business Intelligence and Mobile technology enthusiast. Believe it or not, these qualities aren’t necessarily mutually exclusive. When I think about the availability of Oracle Business Intelligence metrics, dashboards and reports on the go, I am often reminded of the great Beatles Song, Here, There and Everywhere (Paul McCartney’s favorite Beatles song.)

Send email alerts to your phone indicating when critical metrics have been hit or danger indicators have been met. Find out immediately if a customer has ordered the product lately and what their trends have been over the past few months. Or perhaps the company received a large cash payment from a customer today. What is the impact on our accounts receivables? Open the dashboard on your mobile device and start your research. Monitor you business from the beach, or the slopes. Load it on the train, on the plane, in the airport or while carpooling.
